Let us go over to the other side
“Let us go over to the other side”…
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, this weekend 60 of our ladies attended the ACTS retreat. (30 retreatants and 30 team members). I would like to thank and congratulate all of them.
The term "retreat" means "to draw back, withdraw, call back".
Church retreats can be important for several reasons, including:
Spiritual growth: Retreats provide a chance to focus on God and one's relationship with Him, away from the distractions of everyday life.
Community building: Retreats allow church members to interact and bond in a different setting, which can lead to greater understanding, empathy, and unity.
Personal discipleship: Retreats can be a time to commit to personal growth and accountability.
Prayer and worship: Retreats offer uninterrupted time for prayer and worship, without the constraints of time or external pressures.
Personal conversion: Retreats can be a powerful step toward personal conversion.
Making resolutions: Retreats can be a time to examine life's priorities and make practical resolutions for improvement.
Bonding memories: Retreats can create lasting memories.
Have you ever attended a retreat? If not, try to attend one. If you have already attended, refresh your spiritual life repeatedly.
God Bless you all.
Sincerely,
Fr. John
