Happy Father’s Day | Feliz Día del Padre
Dear Beloved Fathers,
I would like to take a moment to wish all of the fathers in our congregation a happy Father’s Day. Your strength and sacrifice as men and as parents have not gone unnoticed by all of us who have been blessed by the presence of a father in our lives.
Throughout history, fathers have held the roles of protectors and providers. They are our role models of not only physical strength, but the strength to overcome spiritual obstacles as well. At their best, fathers tend to the needs of their families, offering support and comfort by drawing from their own experiences. From teaching us the rules of play to the tenets of honest work, they walk beside us and offer guidance, much like our Father in Heaven does.
On this special day of yours, the church beseeches God to bless you in a special way through these words, “God our Father, in your wisdom and love you made all things. Bless these men, that they may be strengthened as Christian fathers. Let the example of their faith and love shine forth. Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor them always with a spirit of profound respect. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
“I will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with doom” (Malachi 3:24). May God bless you as you fulfill your duty to raise your families to honor the Lord and to show thanks for His blessings.

Queridos Padres,
Quiero desearles a todos los padres de nuestra comunidad de Sta. Rosa de Lima un feliz Día del Padre. Todos reconocemos su fuerza y sacrificios como hombres y como padres de parte de todos los que hemos sido bendecidos por la presencia de un padre en nuestras vidas.
En toda nuestra historia, el padre se ha responsabilizado de protegernos y encargarse de la familia. Nuestros padres son nuestros modelos, no sólo de fuerza física, sino también de fuerza espiritual para superar obstáculos. Un padre da su apoyo y consuela a su familia de lo que aprendió de sus propias experiencias. En nos enseña desde las reglas del como socializar, hasta los principios para llevar un trabajo honrado, camina a nuestro lado y nos guía, como siempre lo ha hecho nuestro Padre Celestial.
En este día tan especial para ustedes padres, la Iglesia le suplica a Dios que los bendiga de una manera muy especial con estas palabras: “Dios Padre nuestro, en tu sabiduría y amor has creado todas las cosas. Bendice a estos hombres, para que se fortalezcan como padres cristianos. Haz que brille el ejemplo de su fe y de su amor. Haz que nosotros, sus hijos e hijas, les honremos siempre con un espíritu de profundo respeto. Concédenos esto por Cristo nuestro Señor. Amén.”
“Volveré el corazón de los padres hacia sus hijos, y el corazón de los hijos hacia sus padres, no sea que venga y castigue la tierra con la perdición” (Malaquías 3, 24). Que Dios les bendiga en el cumplimiento de su deber de educar a sus familias para honrar al Señor y dar gracias por sus bendiciones.
