Curriculum & Enrichment
St. Rose of Lima Early Childhood Center uses the Frog Street Press Curriculum series for our infants, toddlers, and twos. The curriculums believe that children learn best through actively engaging with people and things in their environment. Children are involved in hands on experiences, real life adventures and assisted discovery as they explore concepts through play. St. Rose of Lima Early Childhood Center is a place where essential readiness skills are nurtured through play, investigation and of course, fun! Additionally, each class attends music class with Ms. Stacie each week, as well as participating in Bible enrichment through the use of materials from Loyola Press’ “God Made the World” series.

Children are joyful creatures. Our curriculum and resources are designed to tap into a child’s nature and create a joyful experience from the first moments of the day until it is time to say goodbyes. Our programs are filled with songs, music, hands-on materials and activities, chants, games, make-believe, designed to stimulate a child’s imagination, helping make each day a wonderful one!

The ample tools and unparalleled support throughout God Made Me help instill in a love of Catholic faith, Tradition, culture, and a sense of their own Catholic identity while incorporating age-appropriate academic content. The program uses engaging images and activities to help young children understand and experience their budding faith.
God Made Me uses an active learning approach that meets the developmental needs using a Centering, Sharing, Acting instructional model to involve the whole child: heart and mind, body and soul.
