Curriculum & Enrichment
St. Rose of Lima Early Childhood Center uses the Frog Street Press Curriculum series for infants, toddlers, and twos. This curriculum emphasizes that children learn best through active engagement with their environment and the people around them. Through hands-on experiences, real-life adventures, and guided discovery, children explore new concepts through play. Our center nurtures essential readiness skills through play, investigation, and fun! In addition, each class enjoys weekly music sessions with Ms. Stacie and participates in Bible enrichment using materials from Loyola Press’ “God Made the World” series.
At St. Rose of Lima Early Childhood Center, we are proud to use the Frog Street Press Curriculum for our infants, toddlers, and twos. Frog Street Press focuses on active learning through hands-on experiences and play, helping young children build a strong foundation for future growth. Additionally, we incorporate Bible enrichment into our curriculum using Loyola Press’ “God Made the World” series, which introduces children to God’s creation through engaging, age-appropriate lessons. Together, these resources support our mission to foster a nurturing and faith-filled learning environment.

Children are naturally joyful, and our curriculum is designed to embrace that spirit, creating a positive and joyful experience from the moment the day begins until it's time to say goodbye. Our programs include songs, music, hands-on activities, chants, games, and imaginative play, all designed to spark creativity and stimulate a child’s imagination, making every day a fun and meaningful experience!

The "God Made Me" program provides abundant tools and exceptional support to help instill a love for Catholic faith, tradition, culture, and a strong sense of Catholic identity, all while incorporating age-appropriate academic content. Through engaging images and activities, the program helps young children understand and experience their growing faith.
Using an active learning approach, "God Made Me" meets developmental needs through a Centering, Sharing, and Acting instructional model. This approach engages the whole child—heart, mind, body, and soul—ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience.
