Fr. Linh Nguyen, Pastor
As I reflect on my time serving the faithful community of St. Rose of Lima over the past three years, I am reminded daily of Christ’s words: “As I have loved you, so you also should love one another” (John 13:34). This divine call to love and serve has been the foundation of my priestly ministry.
Born in Vietnam, my journey to the priesthood has been filled with challenges and blessings. God’s plan unfolds in unexpected and beautiful ways. After serving in Cincinnati, God's providence led me to the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, where I found my spiritual home at St. Rose of Lima.
These past three years have been full of joy as I have walked alongside you in your faith journeys—celebrating the Eucharist, sharing life’s precious moments through the sacraments, comforting those in need, and witnessing the transformative power of Christ’s love in our community. One of my proudest accomplishments has been leading the successful renovation and beautification of our altar and sanctuary, an initiative that has elevated our worship and reverence.
What makes St. Rose of Lima truly special is our shared commitment to building God’s Kingdom through active faith, genuine community, and compassionate service.
As your pastor, it is my privilege to accompany you in Christ, nurturing the spiritual growth of our community and working together to share God’s love with all we encounter. I look forward to continuing our mission of making St. Rose of Lima a beacon of Christ’s light and love in our community.
May God continue to bless our parish family as we grow together in faith, hope, and love.
