The Pastoral Council
Shaping the Future of Our Parish with Faith and Unity
Mission
The mission of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Community and its Pastoral Council is rooted in the belief that the Church is a place of welcome, unity, and love. "Making a place for all at the table of the Lord through loving service" means embracing everyone in our diverse community, ensuring that no one is excluded from the grace and blessings of God. We seek to build a parish where faith, love, and service are the foundation of everything we do.

Guiding Our Parish Forward: The Role of the Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council of St. Rose has been established to help fulfill the mission of our parish by providing the opportunity for clergy, staff, and laity to share the priestly, prophetic, and kingly mission of promoting a spirituality of communion, making it the guiding principle of education wherever individuals and Christians are formed, wherever ministers of the altar, consecrated persons, and pastoral workers are trained, and wherever families and communities are built up. The Second Vatican Council recognized that the laity, because of their wisdom and particular competence, not only has the right but also the responsibility to actively share the mission of the Church. The functions of the Pastoral Council are promoting a spirituality of communion, pastoral activity, representation, and consultation.
