The Triduum
Our celebration of the Sacred Triduum of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday/Easter takes each of us deeper into the Paschal Mystery we celebrate.
Pastoral Letter - April 2022
To repent means to recognize the reality of personal sin in your life and to turn away from it.
Do You Pray?
The way to free ourselves from the problems we have created and now must face up to is a relationship with Jesus empowered by faith filled prayer.
Stations of the Cross
The practice of praying the Stations originated in medieval Europe when pilgrims were unable to visit the Holy Land, so instead “visited” these Holy places through prayer.
Come Let Us Adore Him
As Jesus is really present in the Holy Eucharist, it is also important to be in the presence of the Lord especially by participating in the Eucharistic adoration.
Pastoral Letter - February 2022
“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Pastoral Letter - 5th Sunday of January 2022

The Conversion of St. Paul

Pastoral Letter - January 2022
Glorify God in any and every activity of life by doing it in his service and according to his will. If you glorify God, one day God will glorify you. The more you get into Christ, the more Christ gets into you, until eventually you are glorified all the way through. One day you will be totally glorious!
Family, The Domestic Church
What made the family of Nazareth Holy Family? It was the presence of Jesus and the holiness of Joseph and Mary. Every family is expected to be holy family. It is the presence of God and the saints and the holiness of the individuals living in a family that make a family a Holy Family.
Oh Come, Emanuel!
It is that wonderful time of the year again when the Church places a four-week period of Advent that calls for expectant waiting and readiness for the coming of Christ. During Advent, we celebrate the coming of Christ at Bethlehem, his coming into our hearts, and his Second Coming. For four weeks before Christmas, our worship calls us into a time to wait for the coming of the Lord. We begin at what may seem a distance from the coming of Christ in Bethlehem and proceed closer each week to the birth. Thus worship during the first two weeks emphasizes the second coming of Christ and the need to prepare for his return.
Happy New Year
As Catholics, we are at the beginning of a New Year, regardless of whether the calendar shows it or not. The new liturgical year begins on November 28, the first Sunday of Advent. As you may be aware, we have a three year cycle for the readings and we are moving into Year C; our Gospel readings will be from Luke. The majority of our readings have been from Mark, the shortest of the four Evangelists so the year was “filled in” with readings from the other Gospels, but principally from John.
